Here’s our October update of what Netflix DVDs downtown residents might are watching as of Monday, October 27, 2008.
Last month’s number one, The Final Season, has fallen to number two, and in at number one is movie from 1980, Flash Gordon. Not sure I understand it’s currently popularity here in Des Moines, but some people downtown must be renting it.
This month instead of posting a screen scrape from Netflix for the top 15, I am providing just the top 5 and trailers for each of them. Enjoy!
Here’s our September update of what Netflix DVDs downtown residents might are watching as of Monday, September 15, 2008. Number one is still The Final Season, a movie about tiny Norway, Iowa, a town that loves high school baseball and how the Tiger’s help unite the community. When authorities decide the town is too small for its own school, the residents are devastated. Now, rookie coach Kent Stock (Sean Astin) must lead the Tigers to victory for one last season. Based on a true story, this touching drama co-stars Powers Boothe,Rachael Leigh Cook, Michael Angarano, Larry Miller and Tom Arnold. I’ve included the trailer below the post.
