Imagine what our downtown could look in a few years, if this economy would do a 180. Here are three examples of downtown urban stores that I can imagine on Walnut Street, a smaller version of the Miracle Mile in Chicago.

First up, a downtown Apple Store. The Jordan Creek Apple Store is always packed full of people, can you imagine the extra traffic downtown would get from our visitors from the east. More daily shoppers downtown would equal more restaurants and more retail.

Next, how about the old Younkers Building is turned into a fancy urban Target Store.

And, even a downtown Gap Store.

And if we can’t get any of that, can we at least hope to get this once again.
